Riggs Australia are dedicated to the research and documentation of unique Australian wildlife and the human response to contemporary issues effecting the natural environment.
A full production facility, we span the whole spectrum of production - from feature length documentaries, to 15 second TV commercials. Our imagery is captured discerningly by using novel filming platforms to engage the audience and enhance their viewing experience.
Super Predator
In November 2013 our film, 'The Search for the Oceans Super Predator' was released on ABC TV in Australia and subsequently to over 72 countries across the globe.
The film focuses on the mysterious disappearance of a great white shark off the remote south coast of Western Australia and the discovery of a deep sea hot spot harboring killer whales, giant squid and all manner of fascinating marine life.
Following the success of the first film we produced a sequel for Discovery Channel Shark Week in 2015. 'Super Predator' went on to become Shark Week's second most viewed program in its 28 year history.

Shot over a three year period, this 80 minute film follows the passion and determination of the people dedicated to saving one of Australia’s rarest birds.
Watch their desperate race to bring the Western Ground Parrot back from the brink of extinction.
